This is a revised and extended English version of Sayyid Mawdudi's Urdu, Islam Ka Nizam Hayat (Lahore, 1948). Within the limits of five short talks, delivered on Radio Pakistan during Jan-March 1948, Sayyid Mawdudi deals with most of the essential aspects of Islam, whether it be morals and ethics, politics and economics, family and social life, or spirituality and worship.
