Family and Society
Today is a ground breaking lecture series exploring the human condition,
and how the dynamics of family and society are microcosms of principles of order
that govern the universe. Shaykh Adhami highlights how the guidance of Shari'ah
helps us to navigate the various domains of order with dignity and sense. The
series also discusses how physiology informs jurisprudence, and how neuroemotive
science can deepen appreciation of our spiritual essence. In addition to
navigating through concepts of power, order, authority and marital relations
from multi-disciplinary perspectives, this unique series concludes with a
discussion on homosexuality, and stem-cell research by the earliest Muslim
doctors in the second-century AH (Hijri Calender).
