This is the second part of a three part series focusing on the Sirah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The album covers the Medina era starting from The Hijrah up until The Battle of the Trench.

Imam Anwar al-Awlaki details the first five years of the Medina era – a period which was to include all the prominent events of The Hijrah, the establishment of the first Islamic state, The Battle of Badr, The Battle of Uhud finally ending with The Battle of the Trench. The final part of this volume looks at the period between Hudaybiah and the death of the Messenger of Allah.

About the Speaker

Imam Anwar al-Awlaki was born in New Mexico, USA. His parents are from Yemen where he received the early part of his Islamic education. He has served as an Imam in Colorado, California and Washington DC. Imam Anwar currently resides in Yemen.

Imam Anwar is the author of the following series of lectures: The Lives of the Prophets, The Hereafter, Abu Bakr al-Siddiq – His Life & Times, Umar ibn al-Khattaab – His Life and Times, The Life of Muhammad (pbuh) Volume 2 – The Medina Period.
